Vucic meets with Hungarian ambassador: Relations between Serbia and Hungary at highest level, based on trust
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic today received Hungarian Ambassador Jozsef Magyar for a farewell visit, and thanked him for his dedication, personal engagement and significant contribution to the improvement of relations between the two countries.
Vucic added that relations between Serbia and Hungary are at the highest historical level, based on mutual trust, respect and sincere friendship between our peoples.
"A cordial and substantive conversation with Hungarian ambassador Jozsef Magyar, whom I thanked for his commitment, personal engagement and significant contribution to the improvement of relations between our countries during his diplomatic mandate in Serbia," Vucic stated in a post on his Instagram account, buducnostsrbijeav.
He added that today relations between Serbia and Hungary are at the historically highest level, based on mutual trust, respect and sincere friendship betwen our peoples.
"We paid special attention to the strategic partnership and further connecting in the fields of energy, infrastructure and economy, as well as the implementation of projects of mutual interest. Serbia highly values Hungary's consistent support for our European path and its contribution to preserving peace, stability and prosperity in the region. I am confident that we will continue to strengthen ties and open new opportunities for the benefit of the citizens of both countries," the president stated.
Vucic wished the Hungarian ambassador much success in his future career and thanked him for everything he had done to bring Serbia and Hungary closer together.
