Students engaged in anti-government protests ("students in blockade") announced on social networks that the association "Studentska Lista" ("Student List") has been registered with the Serbian Business Registry Agency (APR).

This marks the first time that these students, who present themselves on their social media accounts as a self-organized group of students, have registered in some official form.

After the collapse of the railway station canopy in Novi Sad in November 2024, they started blocking the work of most state faculties in Serbia, making it impossible to hold classes and exams.

At the beginning of the blockades, they presented four demands related to the responsibility for the accident, categorically claiming that those demands do not have a political background, but in May 2025, they started asking for early parliamentary elections.

They also announced their own electoral list, but so far they have not revealed who will be on it. It has only been revealed that that those persons will not be only students.

Although they announced that they would reveal parts of their  program during the protests organized in the past few months, what has been heard so far is criticism of the authorities, without proposing concrete solutions.

The protesting students have also put up stands in several towns around Serbia from where they distribute propaganda material.
