Egzon Bitiqi (26) is suspected of murdering his pregnant wife, Jetlira Foniqi (25), in the village of Kravoserija near Malisevo in Kosovo and Metohija!

According to Albanian-language media the so-called Kosovo police confirmed that two seriously wounded people were found in the bedroom of a family house in this village, and that the woman later died, despite the doctors' efforts to save her. The man, who was determined to be the victim's husband, is in serious condition.

The prosecutor's office and the police later announced that the suspect is Egzon Bitiqi, who is believed to have first shot his wife, who was 9 months pregnant, and then himself.

Family members have been informed about the tragic death of Jetlira Foniqi .

Police spokeswoman for the Djakovica region, Vlera Krasniqi, told KosovaPress that the case was reported on August 23, at 23:20 hours.

According to her, police immediately went to the scene.

First medical aid was provided and the pair was transported to the Clinical Center of the University in Kosovo for treatment.

During the investigation at the scene, the police found and seized a firearm suspected to have been used in this incident.
