Vucic speaks with Tokayev: Serbia sees sincere friend and reliable partner in Kazakhstan

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic today congratulated President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the victory of the Adilet party in the parliamentary elections in that country and added that Serbia sees Kazakhstan as a sincere friend and reliable partner.

"A cordial conversation with Tokayev, whom I congratulated on the convincing election result and the success of the Adilet party in the parliamentary elections, which is a strong confirmation of the citizens' trust in his policy and vision for Kazakhstan's further development," Vucic stated in a post on the Instagram account "buducnostsrbijeav".

Vucic added that during the phone conversation, they discussed the possibilities of further strengthening the strategic partnership between Serbia and Kazakhstan, especially in the field of trade and economic relations, as well as concrete directions for stronger cooperation in energy, transport and logistics, agriculture and new technologies.

"Serbia sees in Kazakhstan a sincere friend and a reliable partner, and we look forward to everything we will do together going forward," added Vucic.
