ATTACK ON NEW BELGRADE HOTEL: Molotov cocktail thrown at 4 in the morning, police looking for perpetrator

Real drama unfolded this morning around 4 o'clock in New Belgrade, when an unknown man threw a Molotov cocktail in front of a well-known Belgrade hotel, Telegraf.rs has learned.

Thanks to the composure and quick reaction of the security personnel, the fire was immediately extinguished, thus preventing a huge disaster.

The attack took place in the early hours of the morning, and the incident was recorded by security cameras. As Telegraf.rs has learned, the video shows an unknown man approaching the building and throwing a glass bottle filled with flammable liquid, which immediately burst into flames when it hit the concrete in front of the hotel.

The tragedy and more damage was prevented by the hotel's security personnel, who reacted immediately and extinguished the fire before it spread towards the entrance itself.

According to initial information, no one was injured in the attack, and no material damage was caused to the building itself. The police conducted an investigation and are intensively searching for the perpetrator from the video, while the motive for this attack is still being investigated.
