Vucic: I expect to meet with European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos in September

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said today that he expects to meet with the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, in September.

Vucic was visiting the Innovation and Education Park of the Serbian Demining Center in Velika Mostanica, where he attended a presentation of the work of mine clearing personnel about unexploded ordnance clearing projects.

A journalist asked for his comment on Marta Kos's statement that, "the European Union does not want Trojan horses in its ranks" and whether this could be a signal of a new delay in the opening of cluster 3 in Serbia's EU accession negotiations.

"I assume that I will have a meeting with Mrs. Kos in September. I believe that it will be good and productive, and whether they want to open (the cluster) or not is their business," said Vucic.
