Novak Djokovic holds by far the most records in the world of tennis, including the most important ones. That is why he is the greatest of all time. The number of records is increasing, but one of them, held by Roger Federer, can only be broken if the Serbian returned to the Top 10 for a few weeks.

As is well known, as of this Monday, Novak is no longer among the top 10 in ATP rankings - and he previously spent 959 weeks in that group.

He is just nine weeks short of Federer's record in that segment, so we will see if Djokovic can stay among the top 10 for just over another two months, after he returns.

And return he will, in China, where he will compete in Beijing and Shanghai, which could improve his ranking after the early exit from the US Open.

Novak holds the records for the most weeks spent in the Number 1 spot, most weeks in the Top 3, most weeks in the Top 5, and he still has the chance to add the the Top 10 category to this list.
