Brutal murder in Nova Pazova: Man runs over elderly acquaintance then escapes by train

Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sremska Mitrovica and Stara Pazova, through operational work, have shed light on an aggravated murder committed on September 12 and arrested Z.P. (47) on suspicion that he committed this criminal act in Nova Pazova.

It is suspected that, after an argument, the suspect ran over his 77-year-old acquaintance with his car, grabbed his bag, and then fled by train in the direction of Novi Sad, where he was arrested.

By order of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Sremska Mitrovica, Z.P. will spend up to 48 hours in police custody, after which he will be brought before a prosecutor along with a criminal complaint.
