Air Serbia launches new route to Seville: The carrier now flies to 10 cities in Spain and Portugal

The Serbian national carrier Air Serbia today established direct flights between Belgrade (BEG) and Seville (SVQ), the cultural and administrative center of Andalusia in the south of Spain.

Air Serbia will fly between Belgrade and Seville twice a week.

After the direct route to Tenerife was launched in September, Air Serbia is further expanding its network in Spain by introducing flights to Seville, so that eight destinations in that country will now be available to passengers directly from Belgrade - Madrid (MAD), Barcelona (BCN), Malaga (AGP), Valencia (VLC), Alicante (ALC), Palma de Mallorca (PMI), and Tenerife (TFS), according to the airline.

Along with Porto (OPO) and Lisbon (LiS), Seville has become Air Serbia's tenth destination on the Iberian Peninsula. The first flight, JU588, was carried out over Sarajevo, Split, the Adriatic Sea, Rome, Sardinia, the Balearic Islands and Palma de Mallorca and Alicante to Seville by Airbus A319 (YU-APM).

Seville is one of best known cities in southern Spain, "recognizable for its rich historical and cultural heritage, architecture, gastronomy and the strong flamenco tradition," the airline said about its new destination.
