EXCLUSIVE FROM BELGRADE! Only charred shell remains of €100,000 Porsche

Almost nothing was left of a luxury Porsche Macan worth around 100,000 euros, which caught on fire in Belgrade last night around 03:00 hours - a Telegraf.rs portal team found only the charred shell of the car at the scene in Vozdovac.

According to initial unofficial information from the field, the fire broke out in the front part of the car, from where it spread in just a few seconds and engulfed the entire vehicle. The blaze was so powerful that it caused total damage, and the flames soon spread to a parked vehicle in the immediate vicinity, which was also significantly damaged.

Residents from the surrounding buildings are still visibly shaken by the night's drama that woke them up.

"We were woken up by the sirens and voices of the firemen. When I looked out the window, the flames were going high into the sky, and there was thick smoke. Firefighters reacted really quickly and were lucky to put out the fire before it engulfed other vehicles parked in a row," one of the visibly upset eyewitnesses told our portal.

Telegraf.rs previously reported that the owner of the destroyed Porsche is 26-year-old T.P. from Belgrade. The police and the prosecutor's office have been informed about the event, and the authorities are currently reviewing footage from surveillance cameras from the area in order to determine whether the fire was a case of arson, or a malfunction.

The investigation is ongoing.
