Brnabic: I will call presidential elections in Serbia within constitutional deadline

Acting President of Serbia and SNS Vice-President Ana Brnabic has said that she will call presidential elections within the deadline set by the Constitution.

"I will schedule them when the time comes, in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia. Unlike this fraud called 'the Student List', I respect the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia, and we respect the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia," Brnabic said in response to a journalist during a news conference held in front of the House of National Assembly in Belgrade.

When asked by a journalist if she should have done that on the first day after she became acting president, Brnabic replied that this is not the case.

"Consult the judges of the Constitutional Court, if you cannot understand the Constitution and the laws, there are people you can ask," said Brnabic.
