NEW DETAILS ABOUT BELGRADE HORROR: Teenager shoots himself in the neck from his father's illegal gun!

16-year-old N.L. from Belgrade is in a stable condition after he accidentally shot himself in the neck on Saturday, Telegraf.rs has learned.

The investigation determined that the accident happened involved an unregistered gun that N.L.'s father illegally kept in the house, and which the boy took from the storage room to show off to five of his friends. His parents were in Greece at the time.

As Telegraf.rs already reported on Sunday, six teenagers were alone in an apartment in Bojanska Street in Belgrade. In order to show off, N.L. took out the gun that his father had inherited from his father. The boy put a round full of bullets into the gun at one point. As his friends told the police, N.L. then squeezed the trigger several times, and brought the weapon closer to himself, the gun fired. A bullet fired and hit him in the neck.

Despite the serious injury, the 16-year-old remained conscious. He grabbed his neck and went out onto the balcony, and told the emergency team that arrived that the wound was the result of an accident that happened as he played with his friends.

The parents returned from Greece immediately after learning about the tragedy. The boy's father admitted to possession of an illegal weapon, sayng that he inherited the unregistered gun and kept it in a closet, in a room used by him and his wife.

A criminal complaint was filed against the father for illegal possession of weapons and a serious crime against general safety. The investigation into all the circumstances of this accident is ongoing.
