Serbia, Japan bilateral relations on upward trajectory

Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said at a meeting with Ichiro Aisawa, president of the Japan-Serbia Parliamentary League of Friendship at the House of Representatives of the National Diet of Japan on Monday, that the two countries' bilateral ties are on an upward trajectory

The officials stated that the bilateral relations are on an increase, adding that there is a wish for their further promotion, reads a statement issued by the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Dacic said that the high-level political dialogue needs to be intensified so as to contribute to the promotion of the two countries' overall relations.

Serbia is particularly interested in intensifying economic cooperation and attracting a greater number of Japanese investments, Dacic said.

The Serbian minister thanked for Japan's generous help and donations to Serbia in the previous years, reads the statement.
