Bishop Artemije ostracized from the Serbian Orthodox Church!

This is the first time that a bishop was not only defrocked, but also completely ostracized from the church. For the SPC, he is now only Marko Radosavljevic, as was his world name before becoming a monk

The former Bishop Artemije of Raska-Prizren was ostracized from the church at last night's session of the Parliament.

HERE IS HOW THE SERBIAN CHURCH EARNS 140 MILLION EUROS: Bishops turn millions in their own WINERIES and HOTELS!

This is the first time that a bishop was not only defrocked, but completely ostracized from the church. For the SOC, he is now only Marko Radosavljevic, as was his world name before becoming a monk.

Yesterday, the Parliament gave Artemije a chance to "take the road of peace and unity with the Church", and not through schism and sectarianism, however, he refused  the invitation of the Parliament. After that, the Parliament decided to ostracize him.

In addition to Artemije, the former abbot of Crna Reka, Nikolaj was also ostracized, reports "Blic".

Up until last night's decision, Artemije was a monk after losing his title of bishop a few years ago.

Artemije and Nikolaj were ostracized because of their division of the unity of the Serbian Orthodox Church. Artemije made the first schism in Serbia since the beginning of the history of the autocephalous Serbian Church.

The direct reason for this decision was the end of April, "episcopal ordination act" of the former Abbot of Crna Reka Nikolaj. In the so-called Monastery of  St. Nikola Miriklijski, in Loznica near Cacak, gathered supporters of the then defrocked Bishop, Nikolaj got ranked horepiscope of Old Raska and Loznica. It is an old term, or function that no longer exists in the SOC - Assistant Bishop.

At that point, the church was already aware that it was concerning sectarianism.

Artemije, who up until last night's decision was a monk, and despite the decision of the Serbian Orthodox Church continued to represent himself as a Bishop of Raska-Prizren and Kosovo-Metohija in exile for years has defied the decision of the Parliament.

He did not accept the monk order, and still wore the marks of a bishop and served liturgy, baptisms, and marriages.

Artemije was defrocked several years ago due to the rough machinations in his eparchy, with the money marked for the remaining Serbs and because he defied  all the decisions and recommendations of the Parliament and the Synod.
