An earthquake of four degrees on the Richter scale hit the area of Herzegovina, between Mostar and Citluk, this morning in 6:01 hours.

According to the data of the Euromediteran Seismological Center, the ground was trembling in the city of Ilica, which is part of the municipality of Mostar.

The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of two kilometers, reports Sarajevo portal klix.ba.

As it is specified, this is a rather strong earthquake at the fifth level of Mercalli's scale.

Many people feel those kinds of quakes, objects are moving and smaller ones may fall down. 

The earthquake was felt in the area of Herzegovina and Dalmatia. There is still no information about the damage caused by the earthquake, reports klix.ba.
