Police find more than 25 kilos of marijuana in a BMW stopped at Sid border crossing

Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Belgrade and the Border Police, in cooperation with the Customs Directorate, arrested I.K. (born 1988) on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of illicit production and trafficking of narcotic drugs and seized more than 25 kilograms of marijuana.
The police found the marijuana packaged in 26 packets by inspecting a BMW driven by the suspect, that was stopped at the Sid border crossing (with Croatia).

The suspect has been detained for up to 48 hours and will be brought before the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, along with a criminal complaint.
