After three years of fighting, Slavica Burmazovic has finally met her children at the Nikola Tesla Airport.

The overjoyed mother did not stop hugging her two daughters and son from the moment they met, and at no point did the smile leave her face.

Esma (15), Ajsa (14) and Tarik (8) landed in Belgrade today, four years after their father abducted them.

A Turkish court decided three years ago to return the children to their mother, but the father, a Turkish national, instead went to Iran with them.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohamed Zarif promised on Sunday (October 25) to Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic that he would personally engage in order to successfully complete the process of returning the abducted children of Slavica Burmazovic as soon as possible, the ministry said.
