Situation in Vojvodina is dramatic and expected to deteriorate: 400 people examined in one day
Almost 20 percent of the examined patients are in a serious condition
In the last 24 hours, 179 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in the province of Vojvodina, among which 96 come from Novi Sad, the Institute of Public Health of Vojvodina has announced.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, a total of 3,346 cases have been registered in Vojvodina, confirmed by the RT PCR method. Of that number, 1,380 are in Novi Sad.
The Institute is still assessing the epidemiological situation in Vojvodina as unfavorable, and they expect further deterioration.
The mayor of Novi Sad, Milos Vucevic, said today that "the situation is dramatic."
He said that yesterday alone, a record 400 patients were examined in Covid clinics of which almost 20 percent are severe cases.
Starting this weekend, as announced by President of the Provincial Government Igor Mirovic, patients will also be admitted to the Military Hospital in Petrovaradin.
