Head of Clinic for Infectious Diseases has coronavirus: "We're all a bit worried about his health"

The director of the Clinic for Tropical and Infectious Diseases of the Clinical Center of Serbia, Dr. Goran Stevanovic, has tested positive for coronavirus, President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said today as he was address the media after a meeting with the heads of Covid hospitals in the country.

As he pointed out, Dr. Stevanovic is in isolation.

"He does not want to take the (hospital) bed from someone who is in a more serious condition... we all worry a little about his health," said the president of Serbia.

As he stated, today is the most difficult day in Serbia in terms of the number of new daily coronavirus cases.

"We will have over 1,200 infected people," the president noted and stressed that for now there will be no new measures.
