At least 5 people die every day from Covid in this Serbian town that has only 72,000 inhabitants

During the last few days, Cacak has been experiencing a black streak. Every day five or six patients positive for coronavirus die in the hospital in Cacak. The center of the Moravica District has 72,000 inhabitants according to the last census, so it is clear how worrying this number of deaths is.

200 patients are hospitalized in all wards within the General Hospital Cacak, which has been turned into a Covid hospital. The respiratory center has 19 patients, 12 of whom are on ventilators.

Just like yesterday, five people died in the past 24 hours: S.N. (80) from Cacak (positive), T.V. (71) from Gornji Milanovac (positive), T.M. (67) from Cacak (negative), S.S. (80) from Cacak (positive), DJ.V. (56) from Cacak (positive), reports RINA.

19 patients have been admitted, six discharged, one was transported to Belgrade while five were moved to Plava Hala, a sports venue that currently has 28 patients.

There were 241 examinations of people with symptoms and signs of the Covid infection, out of which 150 were first examinations, during the last 24 hours in the admission-triage clinic of the General Hospital Cacak.

Out of 647 tests, 212 of those who cameback positive were for people from Cacak, 53 from Lucani, 27 from Gornji Milanovac and 40 from Ivanjica.
