An unpleasant sound, which has been constantly heard for two days, is disturbing residents on the corner of Vojvode Stepe and Vitanovacka streets in Vozdovac, Belgrade. They say that no one knows from which direction the sound is coming, as well as that it can be heard even when all the windows are closed.
A video which features the noise was published on the Instagram account Moj Beograd, causing numerous comments.
Some wrote that those were aliens.
"The sound of a malfunction at an underground alien station. No way to lift the UFO up. The clutch went first, then the wheels and now the cover," said one of the comments.
Others said it was a tram braking in Vojvode Stepe Street, while some said it had to do with the 5G network...
According to one commenter, it was a broken intercom.
"The intercom broke down in a nearby building. The same happened in Karaburma this summer, it was whistling for four days. We were going crazy," explained one of the users of the social network.
Among the comments were those saying similar buzzing is heard in other parts of Belgrade.
"Similar and unpleasant buzzing is heard in New Belgrade, in Block 30, not as intense, but it is irritating," said the comment.
There are also witty ones.
"Someone is connecting to the internet via a phone modem," somebody wrote.
