Brnabic talks about new US administration: We will continue to build relations with the US

Prime Minister Ana Bnrabic said on Sunday that Serbia's desire is to build better relations with the United States and that she will try to do that.

Asked how the arrival of Joseph Biden to the post of president of the United States will affect relations with Serbia, Brnabic recalled that America is one of Serbia's most important partners.

"I am glad that during the term of Donald Trump and with his administration, we managed to do a lot to improve relations. I would also like to thank the US ambassador, Anthony Godfrey. We want to continue to build better relations between the United States and Serbia," she stresssed.

Brnabic added that Serbia will try to do that.

As she said, while the names of potential candidates for (Serbian) presidential elections are appearing, the government of Serbia has another 15 months of hard work ahead of it.

Asked to commented on the fact that names of potential presidential candidates are already appearing, including Bishop Grigorije "who announced the founding of a party" - Brnabic said that she saw that there were two presidential candidates - Marinika Tepic and Bishop Grigorije, who are, she added , "extremely strong," so she "believes that one of them will surely win the election."

"As far as we are concerned, there are 15 months of hard work left until then to keep the best economic results for Serbia and in Europe, to complete the highways we started, primarily to Pozega, to complete the reconstruction of Clinical Centers of Serbia and Vojvodina," Bnrabic pointed out.
