Suicide in Nis prison: Inmate found dead in his cell; he previously tried kill himself
He was a repeat offender
An inmate in the Penitentiary-Correctional Institution in Nis has committed suicide by hanging himself, Telegraf.rs has learned.

"An inmate from Cacak (37) killed himself by hanging today in his prison cell. The commanders found him and reacted quickly. The doctor on duty arrived immediately and started resuscitation, but without success. The Institution informed the court, the prosecution, the police and the family about this," we were told by the Administration for Execution of Criminal Sanctions.
As we have unofficially found out, he was sentenced to 5 years and 10 months on weapons charges, and there were other criminal proceedings for which he expected verdicts. He was a repeat offender.
As we have also learned, this inmate tried to commit suicide before.
