Once animals that shy away from people and avoid villages, bears have become the complete opposite in many mountain areas in Serbia.

Thus, a woman posted on social media that bears on Mt. Povlen have become "new domesticated animals."

She photographed one walking in the yard, right next to a house.

Replying to questions in the comments, she wrote that there have been a lot of them for a long time and that they feel comfortable coming close to houses.

"Only one minor attack has been recorded lately, but mother bears with cubs are always more aggressive. The others are peaceful for now, and there are over seven of them," she wrote.
