"None of the people in Pancevo were kept in the hospital, a number showed signs of panic. No one was poisoned. There is no one on oxygen," Slobodan Ovuka, director of the Pancevo hospital, told Telegraf.rs

According to him, two people who were at the scene were given oxygen because they were scared and it helped them breathe easier.

"They and all the other people were examined according to the protocol and sent home," he said, adding that no one had a real need for medical help.

An ammonia leak from a tanker truck occurred last night around 10:45 pm in the Topola settlement near the southern industrial zone in Pancevo.
