President Aleksandar Vucic has reacted to the death of famous diplomat Henry Kissinger.

"The political legacy of a statesman whose words were listened to with respect both in the East and in the West, today we need him more than ever before. I am convinced that the power of his words will remain an inspiration to all who fight for peace and prosperity in the world," Vucic wrote on X.

"May he rest in peace," he added at the end.

Henry Kissinger, former US Secretary of State and one of the most important diplomats of the 20th century, died at the age of 100.

Kissinger was a top diplomat and national security advisor during the Nixon and Ford administrations, and even after his active involvement in politics ended, he maintained his status as one of the most respected authorities on geopolitical issues.
