"Red-hot" cities across Serbia: Here's where the heatwave is most intense - and where it's only 23 degrees!

The heatwave continues and Banatski Karlovci and Negotin were the hottest towns in Serbia this morning, where 35 degrees Celsius was measured at 11 am.
At that time, it was 32 degrees in Belgrade.
Kikinda, Zajecar, Krusevac, Veliko Gradiste and Valjevo reported 34 degrees. The Republic Hydrometeorological Institute (RHMZ) announced on its website that it was 33 degrees in Kragujevac, Kursumlija and Cuprija.
In Novi Sad and Nis, the temperature reached 31 degrees, while it was the coolest on Mt.Kopaonik with 23 degrees, and in Sjenica, 28 degrees.
Red warning, which indicates very dangerous weather, is in effect in Banat, Backa, eastern Serbia, southeastern Serbia, as well as in Pomoravlje.
Orange warning is in effect in the rest of the country.
RHMZ previously announced that the heatwave is expected to continue to intensify in Serbia until July 8, with maximum temperatures in most places ranging between 34 to 38 degrees, while today, on Sunday and early next week (from July 6 to 8) it will 40 degrees in some places.
Cooler weather is expected on Tuesday in northern and western parts of Serbia, from Wednesday in the rest of the country.
