Teenager's skull broken with a wooden pole: Gruesome case of peer violence in Rakovica

The Belgrade police are looking for several young men who, on Monday around noon, beat 17-year-old B.B. using a wooden pole. The incident happened in a parking lot in Rakovica.

The victim sustained serious, life-threatening injuries, Telegraf.rs has learned.

According to unofficial information, he was brought to the Emergency Center accompanied by his parents, where doctors diagnosed him with a brain injury and he was kept for further treatment.

We learned that B.B. came into conflict with several young men in the parking lot, while he was with two friends. After a brief argument, one of the attackers took a wooden pole and started beatuing the teenager. Afterwards they ran away.

The investigation is conducted by the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, Department for Minors.

Inspectors interviewed B.B. in the presence of his parents, as well as the witnesses to the confrontation.
