Srdjan Jankovic has denied that he killed Danka Ilic.

"Today, on June 4, 2024, in the premises of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zajecar, suspect Srdjan Jankovic was interrogated, and fully denied the commission of the crime," the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zajecar said in a statement.
2-year-old Danka Ilic was killed on March 26.
Jankovic was arrested on April 4 on suspicion of killing Danka, together with his colleague Dejan Dragijevic.
