According to the latest data, the water level of the Sava River near Sremska Mitrovica is stagnant at 676 centimeters, local media are reporting, citing RHMZ.
However, it is believed that water will start to gradually recede from tomorrow.
The regular flood defense level in that part of the Sava's course is 650 centimeters, while extraordinary defense measures are declared when the water reaches 750 centimeters.
