Don't fall for this message, it's no happy news: Odd Christian church recruiting Belgraders via QR code
"Happy news! Scan" - is written on a cute drawing-sticker that can be seen around Belgrade these days.
It depicts a "transforming man," arrows and a cross.
This is a message from a non-traditional religious community, and when you scan the code, it takes you to their website, which promotes an unusual version of Christianity and lists messages from young people who supposedly found spiritual peace.
"We are ordinary people who have found the purpose of life, hope and peace in the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that He came, died and rose again for all people, regardless of their religion, skin color and national affiliation. We believe that the Bible is the true Word of God. We try to live in line with it," the website states in the "About Us" section.
The "gift" they offer includes a Bible, and "a conversation with some of those who have found hope, peace and purpose in Jesus."
There is no additional information about this organization, its headquarters, or registration data.
