Vucic meets with Fidan: Serbia attaches particular importance to relations with Turkey

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met today in Belgrade with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, and during the conversation, emphasized that Serbia attaches particular importance to relations with Turkey.

"I am convinced that our conversation will contribute to the further strengthening of relations between Serbia and Turkey, which are characterized by intense political dialogue and comprehensive cooperation, from the economy and energy to tourism, culture and education," Vucic stated in a post on Instagram.

He added that he is particularly glad that Turkey will participate in EXPO 2027 in Belgrade and pointed out that this is another confirmation of strong partnership and mutual trust.

"Serbia attaches particular importance to relations with Turkey, which, bearing in mind its great influence, is important for the stability of the entire region," said President Vucic.
