A serious traffic accident, involving a truck and a passenger car, occurred early this morning on Iriski Venac, in the direction of Sremska Kamenica.

It resulted in the death of the driver of the car, a 26-year-old man.
According to unofficial information, the traffic accident happened around 4:30 am. Ambulance crews, as well as the police, immediately arrived at the scene, but the doctors could only declare the man dead.
According to eyewitnesses, the truck driver did not seek medical help.
Instagram account "192.rs" published some photos from the scene.
Parts of the truck are seen scattered all over the road, while the car broke through the fence due to the force of the impact.
According to initial information, the investigation lasted several hours. The cause of the accident is still unknown.
