Milos Vucevic says Novi Sad court's decision is "disgraceful and scandalous"
Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) leader Milos Vucevic has called "disgraceful and scandalous" the fact that a court in Novi Sad released from custody three more people suspected of attempting to overthrow Serbia's constitutional order.
Vucevic wrote on Instagram that the court acted this way only and exclusively under pressure and threats of those organizing and participating in blockades.
"Once again they confirmed not only that they fell to their knees, but are crawling in front of 'blockaders' and their financial backers, to literally fulfill all their wishes. I have said what I think about the spineless judges. It's unacceptable that once again hooligans and thugs are enforcing justice according to their street rules. Every normal person in Serbia will raise their voice against it! Law and justice must return to Serbia! Without that, there is no normal life," wrote Vucevic.
The Appellate Court in Novi Sad canceled the custody for Mladen Cvijetic, Srdjan Djuric and Davor Stefanovic, accused of attempting to overthrow the constitutional order of Serbia.
The second-instance court overruled the decision of the Higher Court in Novi Sad, canceled their detention and ordered them to house arrest, Tanjug learned.
On May 20, the same court canceled the detention of Marija Vasic, Lado Jovovic and Lazar Dinic, and placed them under house arrest.
