President Aleksandar Vucic welcomes new ambassador, mentions Non-Aligned Movement

President Aleksandar Vucic today offered a warm welcome to the newly appointed ambassador of Indonesia, Andreano Erwin, saying that he hopes the diplomat's time in Serbia will be successful and pleasant, and that through joint work, he will contribute to improving bilateral relations between the two countries.

In a post on his official Instagram account, @buducnostsrbijeav, Vucic stated during the meeting he and Erwin discussed the further strengthening of the friendly ties, which are based on the traditions of the Non-Aligned Movement, as well as the deepening of economic cooperation in the fields of agriculture, energy, IT, military and chemical industries, and tourism.

President Vucic thanked Indonesia for its principled support for Serbia's territorial integrity, as well as for the help the country provides during the process of Serbia's accession to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC).
