This morning, heavy rain was pouring in the northwest Serbia, in Backa, Srem, western Mava, and the Podrinje region. It remained dry in most other areas of Serbia, while the sky was clear in central regions.
Meanwhile, this morning a strong cold front had already reached northwestern Serbia, in Sombor the temperature is 4 degrees Celsius. At the same time, temperatures in the central and southeastern regions are up to 14 degrees.
Belgrade reported 7 degrees Celsius this morning.
During the day, the cold front bringing rain will spread across all of northern and western Serbia toward the central regions, while the south and southeast will remain warm.
Today's maximum temperatures will range from 4°C in the northwest to 20°C in the southeast of Serbia, and up to 8°C in Belgrade.
In the afternoon and evening, there will be moderate rain across all parts of Serbia, with showers and thunderstorms in the south.
In the afternoon and evening, temperatures will continue to drop, and the rain will turn to snow during the evening in Podrinje and in the west of Serbia, and then in Backa and Srem.
This will be a prelude to stronger cooling during the weekend, occasionally with sleet and snow even in lower regions, with temperatures droping to 0 degrees in some areas. It will be warmer and still rainy only in the south and southeast.
At the beginning of next week, Serbia will see warmer weather overall, but still variable and rainy.
