The Draft Production Plan (PPN) clearly shows that the public broadcaster RTVSLO does not intend to participate in the competition, nor to broadcast it.
In fact, if Israel wins in Vienna, Slovenia will not return in 2027 either.
Beyond the well-known position of RTVSLO not to participate if Israel does, a position that was repeated after the EBU announced rule changes — the draft programming plan states that in 2026, priority will be given to major sporting events.
