President Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday in Ankara that he expects Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan to visit Serbia in three to four months. and that he believes many important documents will be signed at that time.

"We spoke about all open issues, political and economic issues, and we expect President Erdogan in Belgrade in three or four months, when I believe we will be able to sign many important things. We also issued a joint statement or declaration about peace and the joint struggle to preserve peace and stability, and I believe that in their bilateral relations, Turkey and Serbia have a good perspective and a good future," said Vucic.

He pointed out that he is very grateful to the Turkish hosts for their exceptional hospitality.

"And above all Erdogan, who always wants to show it in a wise way by showing respect for our country, and it's our obligation to very much appreciate that," said Vucic.

When journalists asked why Erdogan agreed so quickly to a two-day visit to Serbia, Vucic said that the Turkish president cares about good relations with Serbia, just as he himself very much cares about good relations with Turkey.

"We talked in his cabinet about many important things, agreed on issues, and that is one of the things we agreed on. So he will come to Serbia for two days and I believe there will be more guests from abroad, but more on that later," said Vucic.

The president added that he believes it will be an extremely important visit for Serbia.
