Nenad Raskovic, a Serb from the village of Dren in the municipality of Zubin Potok, whom the so-called Kosovo police beat and mistreated, is being transferred from KBC Kosovska Mitrovica to the Emergency Center of the Clinical Center of Serbia, where he will be hospitalized, Tanjug has learned.
The decision was made due to the severity of his injuries and the serious state of the victim's general health.
Members of the so-called Kosovo police raided the Raskovic family home in the village of Dren late on Tuesday afternoon, and after conducting a search, started beating him for no apparent reason.
Raskovic also said that during the ordeal they demanded that he confesses to committing a war crime against ethnic Albanians during the 1998/99 war.
Afterwards, Nenad tie to a tree and left there. With the help of friends, he was freed and transported to the Healthcare Center in Zubin Potok, and then to KBC Kosovska Mitrovica.
According to locals in Dren, Nenad Raskovic is an honest and honorable man, without any stain on his character, who has never had any problems with the law, the Serb List said in a statement.
