Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dacic has stated that members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Belgrade, from the Crime Suppression Department in cooperation with the UKP Crime Suppression Service and by order of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, arrested one person on suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs.

The officers also seized about nine kilograms of different types of drugs.

"Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, PS Palilula, Crime Suppression Department, in cooperation with the UKP Crime Suppression Service in the Directorate of Police and PU for the city of Belgrade, by order of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, arrested F.P. (22) on suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs and seized about nine kilograms of differnt types of narcotic drugs," Dacic said, and added:

"During the search of the apartment and other premises used by the suspect, the police found marijuana, hallucinogenic mushrooms, hashish, pink cocaine, and MDMA, in a total amount of about nine kilograms. The suspect is being detained for up to 48 hours, after which he will be brought to the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade."
