Red Star to receive 18 million euros after Easter!

Red Start has recently been desperately looking to the General Sponsor Gazprom, in anticipation for further cooperation, and a "lifeline".  As of currently, the new four-year contract will come to life after Easter.

According to information from Sport, the red and whites have agreed on terms of cooperation with the Russian company. They will sponsor Red Start in the next four years under the same financial conditions of 4.5 million euros per year.

The ceremonial signing date should be no later than April 20th.

This means that Serbia's defending champion will automatically begin the process of raising loans for a European licence, followed by the paying out of the majority of their creditors in addition to signing new agreements with others.

As a reminder, in order to compete in Europe, the red and whites must settle an outstanding debt of six million by the end of May.
