Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested  D. G. (1978) from Uzice, who, at the press conference in the City Hall in Uzice, at about 12 o'clock, attacked a journalist of the Uzice Weekly news "Uzicka Nedelja"  with a knife causing serious bodily injuries.

Minister of Internal Affairs, Nebojsa Stefanovic, harshly condemned the attack on the Uzice weekly journalist.

Stefanovic said that violence against journalists is unacceptable and that the Ministry of Internal Affairs will strive for the smooth and safe operation of every journalist.
