Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced that he would on Friday morning in Belgrade meet with US President Donald Trump's special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina talks, Richard Grenell, and stated that the US was ready to hear Belgrade's demands and problems regarding Kosovo and Metohija.

Vucic told RTS from Davos that he would meet with Grenell on Friday morning, at 8 o'clock.

The president also spoke with Trump's National Security Advisor Robert O'Brien yesterday in Davos, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum.

Vucic says O'Brien is a decent man who wants to hear and listen to representatives of countries that have less economic strength and importance than the US.

"I think he understands Serbia's position well," said Vucic.

He stated that Serbia's position on Kosovo and Metohija, KiM, is difficult and the US stance towards Kosovo is opposite to ours, but they are now ready to hear our demands and views, said the president of Serbia.

"I am not saying that the US will now switch to our side, as one might think, but they are ready to hear what our demands and problems are, what Serbia thinks about it. In that sense, I think we have opened some doors behind which we can speak more openly than before with US partners," Vucic told RTS from Davos.
