IT exports are growing day by day: Revenues reach almost 1.5 billion euros

Exports of IT services reached 1.422 billion euros last year, an increase by as much as 25 percent compared to 2018, the National Bank of Serbia has announced.

At a press conference presenting the NBS report on inflation, Deputy Director General for Economic Research and Statistics Milan Trajkovic said that total exports of services, including IT, reached seven billion euros in 2019 - and that represents an increase of 15 percent.

Trajkovic said that growth of exports of goods and services in 2019 amounted to 10.5 percent, reaching 23.4 billion euros. He also said last year's exports did not slow down at all, but rather accelerated growth compared to 2018.

"A majority of services that Serbia exports are related to business, information and communication, tourism and transport," Trajkovic said previously.
