Explosion in Zvezdara: Masked attacker throws hand grenade at family home

A hand grenade exploded in Partizanska Street in the Belgrade municipality of Zvezdara last night at about one o'clock. The device was thrown into the yard of a family home where a nursing home is also located.

Fortunately, nobody was injured, but there was great material damage, Pink.rs writes.

The nursing home, which is located in the same yard, houses about 30 people.

According to initial reports, the device was thrown into the yard by a masked person from an adjacent yard; unofficially, one member of the family has a police record.

The investigation is ongoing and footage from surveillance cameras has been retreived.
