Djuric congratulates Grenell on becoming acting director of US National Intelligence

Director of the Serbian Office for the Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric congratulated today Richard Grenell on his appointment as acting director of the US National Intelligence.

"This appointment is an important step in ambassador's fruitful carrier and reaffirms him as a patriot of his country and a professional. Good luck!," Djuric wrote on Twitter.

Hashim Thaci, the president of the provisional Pristina institutions, said that appointing Richard Grenell as acting director of the US National Intelligence was a great choice by US President Donald Trump.

"Ambassador Grenell has done a terrific job as SE on the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. I wish you Rick great success in your new mission to keep USA and the world safer," Thaci wrote on Twitter.

US President Donald Trump has named US Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell as acting director of the country's National Intelligence.

Grenell, who is the US ambassador to Germany, has been Trump's special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue since last October.
