During the 3rd web conference of the Patient Forum, epidemiologist Dr. Predrag Kon revealed what the so-called health passports, that will be a requirement for travel in many countries after coronavirus epidemic is over, will look like.

"For now, the discussions are mostly done through the media, but the fact is that countries will have to agree with one another. Each country has the right to make its own regulation, but it should be clear that a negative PCR test only means that there is no genetic part of the virus present at that moment, and nothing else."

Dr. Kon points out that this may not be the best guarantee, but that it is certainly necessary that some criterion exists.

"The question is what the reaction will be to passengers in international traffic if they come from countries where there Covid is still present. Each state will determine from which country it will receive others. It will be difficult to make a deal. That immunology passport is a good idea, but the question is how many infected people there are at a given moment. The person who has the antibodies will have an excellent immunology passport, they will be able travel all over the world," he concluded.
