Serbia's public debt continues to decline, now amounting to 51.9% of GDP

Compared to February this year, the March level of public debt is down 60 million euros in nominal terms

Serbia's public debt stood at 24.30 billion euros at the end of March 2020, accounting for 51.9 percent of the country's GDP, the Finance Ministry announced today.

Compared to February this year, the March level of public debt is down 60 million euros in nominal terms, and its share in GDP is 0.1 percentage point lower, according to the Ministry.

At the end of January this year, public debt stood at 24.20 billion euros, compared to 23.94 billion at the end of December last year, that amounted to 52 percent of GDP.
