"Some NATO countries are competing over who will deliver more weapons and better weapons to Pristina. Gentlemen, if you want to help Albanians in Kosovo and Metohija, send them books, not tanks, because they will never enter the United Nations, UNESCO or Interpol in a tank," said the director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.

Marko Djuric told RTS this morning that Serbia is always committed to peace, but also ready to protect its own.

"Us Serbs have never been afraid of anyone's power, we have always been committed to peace and always ready to protect what is ours. You could hear that from the president of Serbia yesterday," said Djuric.

Whoever wants to help Pristina, says Djuric, should send them books, not tanks.

"I think that they should send them books instead of weapons, send them Resolution 1244, the United Nations Charter, and then let's talk about the rest like human beings. If (Avdulah) Hoti can say that the only solution is within the valid constitution of so-called Kosovo, I will personally send him the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia and let him learn something because our Constitution is at least 200 years older than theirs," said the director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.
