The Pristina government did not adopt the proposal of the Ministry of Health today to condition entry to so-called Kosovo from central Serbia and Albania with a negative test for COVID-19.

Although a large number of media outlets published this news yesterday, Minister of Infrastructure in the Kosovo government Arben Abrashi denied it for a local television, and Minister for Communities and Returns Dalibor Jevtic confirmed it on his Twitter account, saying the test was not necessary.

"The information that a negative PCR test is needed for those who come to Kosovo from Serbia is incorrect. A negative PCR test is NOT required for entry from Serbia to Kosovo, whether citizens hold Kosovo or Serbian ID cards," Minister Jevtic wrote.

Earlier, Pristina Minister of Health Armend Zemaj said that the residents of Albania and three municipalities in the south of Serbia, Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, will not need a negative coronavirus test to enter the territory of Kosovo and Metohija.
